Plant sale to boost lifeboat funds

A GRAND plant sale and open garden will be raising funds for the lifeboat charity.

The event at Friar Waddon Farmhouse, between Upwey and Portesham is being organised on behalf of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

A variety of plants, morning coffee and light lunches will be available as well as a cake stall, produce stall and raffle.

It is taking place on Thursday May 8 between 10.30am and 2pm. Entrance fee is £1.
